Bishop Fintan Gavin has announced the appointment of a Faith Development Coordinator to serve the parishes of the diocese
Lorraine Buckley will work alongside Eilís Casey, Parish Life Coordinator, and will be based at the Mission and Ministry Office located in the Cathedral Presbytery. Both will support the teams of priests and lay leaders across parishes in the Families of Parishes. Lorraine’s particular focus will be on faith development and formation for lay ministry.
Lorraine has worked both at parish and diocesan level in various areas of faith development and has been involved in parish councils and pastoral areas. She holds qualifications in business, theology (particularly in the areas of applied theology and catechetics), and counselling plus psychotherapy.
The summer timetable of Masses comes to a close at the end of August
As from Saturday 2 September Masses throughout the six parishes will revert to the previous times.
You can check weekend Mass Times using the following link

One permanent place to access Livestream Mass
The Family of Parishes website now has a new fixed link to access livestream Mass each weekend.
In the true spirit of sharing resources a countdown to either a Saturday evening Vigil Mass or Sunday Mass is now available on the website. This will be rotated around a different parish church each weekend. So for example this weekend the livestream will be the Vigil Mass on Saturday evening at 7:30pm from the Sacred Heart Church, Coutmacsherry.
How to access the livestream
This is a permanent link at onefaith.ie/livestream
When the countdown reaches zero the livestream will begin. If there is no countdown the previous Mass will be available.
There are several places on the Family of Parishes website where content from your Parish would be most welcome
Notices
Any announcements or newsworthy items relevant to all the parishes would be most welcome in this section. So for example any events in Timoleague that are open to all or Barryroe has a new musical setting of the Mass. Any photos of people you send will of course need to have addressed the appropriate permissions.
Stories
This section of the website is new and the idea is to gradually add stories or a historical fact about any of the six parishes. Try to keep each article short and about one particular topic.
